This year the festival is expected to be bigger and better than ever. The attractions include: rock and traditional Celtic music, Irish step dancers, Clydesdale draft horses, Scottish bagpipers, Roman soldiers, belly dancers, and Celtic sword play. On the Main Stage, Druid Sisters Tea Party will mesmerize audiences with a wide range of traditional and tribal Celtic rock. The Swords of Gridlock will provide comic and traditional wrapper dances from England for the 8th year. Back again is Patrick Ryan's Celtic Junket, Tinker's Dam, the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers, Blind Ducks, and Kekuja with Kevin Marshall. During the opening ceremonies, three pipe bands- Macintosh led by Jan Richie, and Prince Charles Junior, led by Bill Merriman, and San Francisco Irish Piper- will take the field.
2006 may be this event's final year.
