Description

The Sun Valley Performing Arts/nexStage Theatre hosts a renaissance faire each August in celebration of the life and times of William Shakespeare, as a family oriented part of their Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival. Jousting, feasting, plays, dance, music and other performance arts are all part of the celebration, with community wide group collaboration, childrens games, medieval farm, Punch and Judy, Shakespearean skits and lots of colorful booths. This year's setting in a five acre meadow against the breathtaking backdrop of Bald Mountain makes our Faire unmissable for anyone willing to venture into the rocky mountains of Idaho.

Our Renaissance Faire is part of the Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival. In 2007, the mainstage production of 'Much Ado About Nothing' will be playing nightly at 6 pm for ten days after the Faire.
